With the start of a new school year, a new series of MCEC professional development opportunities have begun. Take a look at the upcoming sessions below, and join us for all that you can!

Purple Star School Support Virtual Training

Are you a school professional responsible for overseeing the Purple Star Program requirements or application at your school or district? Our introductory training includes five unique modules, delivered in three-hour sessions over a two-day period.

Upcoming sessions are offered in September and October.

Purple Star Readiness ECHO

Find a community of learners to help you with every step of your Purple Star School application or redesignation process with our MCEC Purple Star Readiness ECHO®.

Currently offering state-specific sessions for South Carolina and Alabama, each cohort meets monthly online to address best practices and common challenges in their region.

Don’t see a cohort in your state? That’s okay, anyone can join a state cohort! While information is shared and viewed through a local lens, much information can be applied across states.

This ECHO series begins in September and runs through April.

MCEC Student 2 Student ECHO

This 6-part professional learning community series provides evidence-informed practices and an opportunity for collaborative discussion to address challenges shared by S2S Advisors and ECHO participants.

The S2S ECHO® series is designed for S2S Advisors, school administrators, and school-based behavioral health professionals including school counselors, school social workers, and school psychologists.  

This ECHO series is held September-November 2024 and continues in 2025 February-April.
