Our 2022 Global Training Summit
JULY 25-27, 2022 – For twenty-four years MCEC has been bringing together the expertise and practical tools to prepare military children for a bright future.
The Military Child Education Coalition returned to Washington, DC this past summer to host the MCEC Global Summit (formerly known as the National Training Seminar). First Lady Jill Biden lead the opening session, bringing prestige, commitment, and grace to the event. See a glimpse of a few highlights of our three-day summit.
“MCEC is a tireless leader to help our military children and give them the resources they need to survive. One of my very first events at the White House was to listen and learn from high school military children. I am committed to sharing the artwork of our military children to be woven into our Administration.” MCEC’s Call for the Arts entries were displayed in the East Wing of the White House this spring.
MCEC Spotlight: Artistic Expression and the Military Child
Miss Quinn, the daughter of active-duty Air Force, shared a dance to the song ‘Soldier’s Light’ as a form of expression.
PURPLE OUT! with Tom Krieglstein
When everyone comes together with the same goal, change happens. That is the story of MCEC, passionate about educating, collaborating, and advocating for military children. The Purple Out! Event was a unified front, standing up and speaking up for what we believe in — our military children.
