Kyra Bush
Vice President, Education Services
Kyra is an experienced educator, school counselor, and district level administrator with many years of experience on the school campus, in the field, and at the district level. She has been dedicated to helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Kyra began her career as an elementary school teacher and moved into the school counselor role where she worked with young learners and built strong relationships with her students and their families. Her passion for education and counseling led her to take on leadership roles where most recently she served as the Coordinator for Guidance Services in a large school district. While in the Coordinator for Guidance Services position, Kyra managed the district-wide Student 2 Student Program and the Purple Star Schools Program. In her role, she assisted schools in building their student transition program while helping them understand the importance of supporting the unique needs of military-connected students. Additionally, Kyra worked closely with the school counselors to ensure that students received comprehensive, data-driven counseling services that promote their academic and personal success. She also served as the school district’s Foster Care Liaison, advocating for students in foster care and coordinating support services for them.
Kyra’s background in school counseling deeply informs her passion and purpose. She is committed to promoting positive mental health and well-being among students.
Kyra holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Science in School Counseling.
