Robert Ray

Robert “Bob” Ray, an Air Force brat, soldier, and then DoD civilian spent all but four years of his life living and or working in the military community, both overseas and in the U.S.

His last assignments before retiring in 2004 were as Chief of Staff of the DoD Education Activity and then Deputy Director of the DoD Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools. Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources from Saint Leo University and formerly owned a small Bed and Breakfast in Savannah, Georgia. He is the author of the Dane Hunter mystery series. He has two daughters and two grandchildren.
