Sponsor a Student to Attend a Prestigious Leadership Program

Military Child Education Coalition® offers two of the most powerful student leadership programs in the country, and both depend on the generosity of donors and corporate sponsors to send students who could not otherwise attend.

The Frances Hesselbein Student Leadership Program (FHSLP) is held twice a year, in October at the United States Military Academy at West Point and in February at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Open to both military-connected and civilian S2S® student leaders, participants spend five days training alongside cadets, building the skills and tools to strengthen their S2S® programs at home.

The Caregiving Youth Student Leadership Program® (CGYLP) brings high school students who are caregiving for wounded, ill, or injured veterans to an immersive five-day leadership retreat in partnership with the University of Texas at San Antonio. Thanks to multiple funders, CGYLP is offered multiple times throughout the year.
