Our 2025 Global Training Summit

Thank you so much to all who joined us for the 2025 Global Training Summit!

Today’s technology shaped tomorrow’s greatest tools. Digital innovations provided military-connected students with accessible and interactive solutions to address the challenges and opportunities that came with military life.

With technology, students learned from and leveraged countless resources that personalized learning experiences and created their own sense of consistency in an ever-evolving in-person and online landscape.

Attendees joined us at one of our 2025 regional MCEC Global Training Summits for a series of sessions highlighting three areas of impact to consider when evaluating the role that technology played in how military-connected children navigated the changes and circumstances unique to being a military kid.

Enhancing Academics

The continued use of technology in the classroom provided students with opportunities to explore new information and techniques through digital tools. Students felt empowered to pursue areas of interest, ask big questions, and seek out their own answers inside and outside the classroom.

Personal Development in the Digital Era

Research demonstrated the growing influence that technology had on students’ cognitive, psychological, organizational, and physical development. Promoting a healthy relationship with technology and a balance between online and offline activities positively contributed to students’ overall well-being.

Adult Guidance with Technology

Beyond academics, cultivating connections and striving to make a difference in the lives of peers, teachers, family members, and the broader community constituted equally important indicators of student success. Taking advantage of technological improvements in communication and collaboration aided students in their efforts to create quality connections and promote positive change for others. However, technological advancements also served as inhibitors of genuine relationships. Trusted adults were instrumental in helping students utilize digital tools safely. Adults modeled how students could engage in important issues to connect with and actively influence the world around them.
